Fledgling heavyweight star to star in Miami and Springfield
Former street fighter and MMA star Kimbo Slice will fight
two more times up to February 2012 as the novice heavyweight continues his
foray into the professional boxing ranks.
The 37 year-old will firstly return to the scene of his
debut as he fights a four-rounder at Buffalo Run Casino in Miami, Oklahoma on
December 30th before moving on to his fourth pro fight at Drury
University’s O’Reilly Family Center in Springfield, Missouri on February 11th.
The big-punching crowd pleaser had so far scored two stunning
knockouts in his two previous bouts amassing just 129 seconds in the boxing
ring since switching to the sport in mid-2011.
Slice, real name Kevin Ferguson, may then step up to six-round
fights in 2012 according to promoter Jared Shaw of Gary Shaw Productions as he
makes the slowly planned progress through the ranks.
