AJ Galante (Delvin Rodriguez's manager) Had a good meeting with Delvin this week. Usually when we meet I like to get an update on how he’s feeling physically, as well as what he’s been doing working out wise. I update him on everything outside of the ring. This week Delvin let me know that he’s been doing his running, and started back working a few days a week with our strength and conditioning coach Matt Patren. Delvin is in shape 24/7/365, but obviously when there is a match coming, the workouts intensify.  Unfortunately at this present time, there is no match on the horizon, but in this business, you have to be ready at a moments notice. I can get a call from our Promoter Joe DeGuardia, and he may say that somebody got injured for an upcoming match, and we have a chance to replace them. Sometimes that could be on a four week notice. The 32 year-old, who gained the WBA opportunity on the back of two solid performances against the now-retired Pawel Wolak, is hoping to get back into contention for another crack at the world crown with a victory over a highly-ranked opponent. Jay WBN Editor Dominican earns second world title shot Delvin Rodriguez’s ten-round war against Pawel Wolak last July was voted WBN Fight of the Year for 2011 and now the US-based Dominican has earned another world title shot on the back of his one-side return in December. The 31 year-old will battle WBA 154lb title holder Austin Trout at the Home Depot Center in Carson, California on June 2 nd in his second bid to become world champion. Jay  WBN Editor ‘Raging Bull’ on the warpath for Bundrage shot Light-middleweight contender Pawel Wolak is hoping to capitalise of newly-increased reputation by gaining a shot at IBF champion Cornelius ‘K9’ Bundrage on December 3 rd . The 29 year-old fought out a ten-round war with Delvin Rodriguez last month, fighting most of the fight with a serious hematoma which hampered his sight from the sixth round onwards and eventually ended in a draw. The 29 year-old fought with one eye for the second half of the fight as he and Rodriguez, 31, compelled the fans for ten rounds at the Roseland Ballroom in New York and cries have been heard for a rematch ever since, not least from the US-based Dominican. ESPN2, ESPN Deportes and ESPN Classic will reair the main event of July 15’s edition of  ESPN’s Friday Night Fights  on July 20 and 22 .  The special will be the first non-regularly scheduled reair for  ESPN’s Friday Night Fights . The main event featured former welterweight world title challenger Delvin Rodriguez (25-5-3, 14 KOs) and  Ring Magazine’s No.7-ranked junior middleweight Pawel “Raging Bull” Wolak (29-1-1, 19 KOs) in a 10-round majority draw.
