Delvin Rodriguez awaiting next move

AJ Galante (Delvin Rodriguez's manager) Had a good meeting with Delvin this week. Usually when we meet I like to get an update on how he’s feeling physically, as well as what he’s been doing working out wise. I update him on everything outside of the ring. This week Delvin let me know that he’s been doing his running, and started back working a few days a week with our strength and conditioning coach Matt Patren. Delvin is in shape 24/7/365, but obviously when there is a match coming, the workouts intensify.  Unfortunately at this present time, there is no match on the horizon, but in this business, you have to be ready at a moments notice. I can get a call from our Promoter Joe DeGuardia, and he may say that somebody got injured for an upcoming match, and we have a chance to replace them. Sometimes that could be on a four week notice. That’s not ideal, but if the opportunity is a good one, you have to be ready. That’s why i stress to these guys to stay working. I’m very luck...

Jay  WBN Editor Former world title challenger intent on comeback Light-middleweight contender Delvin Rodriguez is ready to return to the ring in the coming months following his world title defeat to Austin Trout in June, according to manager AJ Galante who spoke with WBN recently. The 32 year-old, who gained the WBA opportunity on the back of two solid performances against the now-retired Pawel Wolak, is hoping to get back into contention for another crack at the world crown with a victory over a highly-ranked opponent. "I am a firm believer in that our loss in June will make Delvin better,” Galante told World Boxing News. “Delvin is back in the gym and hungrier than ever.
