Jay WBN Editor ‘Boxing Binman’ suffer deep gash on eyebrow The greatly-anticipated super-bantamweight clash between former world title challenger Rendall Munroe and current British champion Scott Quigg ended prematurely tonight as a clash of heads saw the contest end a technical draw. 32 year-old Munroe started brightly in the first, pushing Quigg back as the Bury man struggled to gain a foothold in the opening session. Quigg, 23, came back superbly in the second to frustrate Munroe and make him miss, as the contest end all-square after two rounds. The bout ended shortly into the third round though as both men lunged in and Quigg's forehead accidentally scraped Munroe’s eyebrow and opened a horrific cut that hampered the Leicester fighter’s sight immediately.
