Audley Harrison and Martin Rogan named in Prizefighter - The Internationals III

Former Prizefighter champs Audley Harrison and Martin Rogan are two of the first names in a star-studded line-up for the Betfair Prizefighter International Heavyweights III live on Sky Sports from the York Hall in Bethnal Green on February 23. The pair are joined by American Travis Walker and Brixton’s Ian Lewison on a huge night for British boxing, as Olympic captain Tom Stalker makes his professional debut before his new stablemate Kell Brook fights for a his first World title in America. Rogan returns to Prizefighter for the 29 th  edition, nearly five years after he won the first ever Prizefighter in the famous east London home of boxing while Harrison credits Prizefighter for reigniting his career after he claimed the trophy in October 2009 to pave the way for his World title clash with David Haye. No surprise as Audley is linked to a fight with Flintoff

Phil D. Jay  WBN Editor Harrison put at novice level with boxing fans Recent boxing forums have been buzzing with the anticipation of a fight that a surprising portion of fight fans want to see. No it’s not Mayweather v Pacquiao or Fury v Price – but a humble scrap between Audley Harrison and Andrew ‘Freddie’ Flintoff. After ex-cricketer Flintoff made a successful foray into the boxing world last month with a four, two minute round win over two-fight pro Richard Dawson, the fans now want to see if he has the tools to deal with the former Olympic gold medallist. I may be mistaken, but that does not sound like a compliment to Harrison, who has 34 professional fights behind him and not to mention a European title reign, albeit a brief one at that.
