Boxer unlikely to participate in Channel 5 launch
A speculated stint in this year's Celebrity Big Brother house
seems unlikely for undefeated heavyweight Tyson Fury as the show nears it
launch tomorrow night at 9pm on Channel 5.
According to trainer Peter Fury, who has guided his nephew Tyson close to a world title shot in 2013, the 6ft 9ins boxer has not signed on for any
participation on the show with less than 24 hours until the popular reality
show goes live.
“Tyson has been mentioned for the show, but at this stage
not confirmed and now looks unlikely,” Fury told World Boxing News.
Fury, 24, has not been ruled out for any future appearances
at the house though, whether in this series or in the future, but it is apparent that
tomorrow night’s launch will go ahead as planned without the presence of the charismatic
fighter.
