Brian Green drafted in as Mike Glenn pulled

Mike Glenn’s pro boxing debut against Kimbo Slice has now been cancelled as he failed to provide Team Kimbo with the appropriate footage of his previous fights according to cagepotato.com.

The 34 year-old, who has fought extensively in MMA, was due to face Slice (3-0, 2 KO’s) at the O’Reilly Center in Springfield, Missouri but has now been pulled out of the fight.

His replacement is another Mixed Martial Artist and a middleweight at that in Brian Green, who will also step in for his boxing debut and give away a significant amount of weight to Slice, who hopes to get back to knockout ways following his first decision win over Charles Hackmann in December.

Slice, 37, real name Kevin Ferguson, is also pencilled in to fight on May 12th at the Lucky Star Casino in Oklahoma as the former backyard brawler continues his foray into the heavyweight ranks.

The “Gypsy Boy” then managed to string together a four fight unbeaten run together in early 1999 and ended the year winning five out of his twelve contests, but by this time had already delved into the journeyman pool of boxers with a record of 5-8-1. After settling at the welterweight limit, Ernie ga...
