‘Iron’ Mike to bare all in on stage in April
Former undisputed world heavyweight champion Mike Tyson
plans to share his deepest thoughts with fans when his one-man Las Vegas show
kicks off on April 13th and runs for six nights at the 740-seat
Hollywood Theatre on the grounds of the MGM Grand.
The 45 year-old, who retired from boxing in 2005, is to star
in the aptly-titled ‘Mike Tyson: Undisputed Truth -- Live on Stage’ from next
month and plans to leave no subject as taboo for fans who purchase tickets for
the special event.
“Film of me going to prison will be screened behind me and I
will get naked there in front of people,” Tyson told The Daily Mail.
“That’s what I call it, being naked with my clothes on. Just
telling the truth,” he added.
Tyson served time in prison for rape in the 90’s, along with being declared
bankrupt in 2003 and has since returned to be successful on TV and in movies, such
as ‘The Hangover’ and now hopes to entertain the public by telling his story in
his own words.
“I have survived all that I have been through and it's left
me with such passion for life,” Tyson explained.
“When I had all that money, I was the most miserable, wretched
b*****d around. Now I have got energy and great potential to be a better
person.”
