‘Pacman’ fight pushed back three weeks
Multi-weight world champion Manny Pacquiao will now take to
the ring on December 1 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas after the Filipino’s next
outing was switched from the original date of November 10.
Pacquiao’s advisor Michael Koncz informed of the change as
speculation continues to grow over whom the former WBO welterweight title
holder will face from a shortlist of three candidates.
"Bob Arum has moved the date now
to December 1, and he's done that at our request due to conflicting schedules
with the boxing and Manny's personal affairs," Koncz told RingTV.com.
Former opponents Juan Manuel Marquez, Timothy Bradley and
Miguel Cotto remain in the frame, although the latter being scheduled to fight
on the same date in New York is not thought to have any bearing on the decision.
