Rejuvenated Briton to fight on US network again
Former light-welterweight champion Amir Khan will be
showcasing his talents on Showtime for at least another two outings in 2013 as
part of a three-fight deal with the American broadcaster.
The 26 year-old, who impressed on the network last weekend
with a resounding win over Carlos Molina, is pencilled in to fight in the
spring and the autumn of next year as he plots another world title.
The Bolton fighter is also planning to remain on Sky TV in
the UK after a successful switch from Primetime PPV - with lucrative rematches
with Danny Garcia and Lamont Peterson in his sights for the coming year.
Khan suffered a disastrous twelve months up until his ten round stoppage
of Molina at the LA Sports Arena and has recently been linked with a move up to
welterweight to challenge Paulie Malignaggi for his WBA belt.
